Talking to these founders, whose enthusiasm was soooo infectious, we realized the multiplier effect startups have to the economy and in creating jobs. We realized the impact startups can have on restarting the economy post pandemic. We found our calling! How we can help scale our efforts in helping people.
Quitting the fortune 500 corporate job after that was the easier part... we had found purpose.
We are old friends, colleagues and now co-founders of ReadySet-Grow, and eventhough we have been in different continents for most of the time, but ourcommon love for marketing and innovation has kept us connected throughout...and having worked with global companies, in different industries, launching 100s of products across different geographies we know that creating a product or ideais just the start of a journey but its beyond the product that helps make thatjourney successful!
And for that reason we made a commitment to make every start up asuccess!
Its always been the same since I was a child... helping family, friends, colleagues or anyone who would ask. So, when the pandemic came I started helping friends with businesses, friends interviewing for a job, friends working on projects... and I enjoyed doing this so much I started helping full time.
As a career marketer & strategy guy, essentially, a jack of all trades.... I have always kept the consumer at the core of every-thing I have done.
If I were to summarize my career spanning across 20+ indus-tries for 10+ companies in 2 continents within fortune 500 companies, SMEs and startups, it would be constant change in learning, unlearning and re-learning.
For me, fulfillment is when you have clarity on what success looks like for you. In my case its 6 things ... Family, Health, Religion, Personal Development, Contributing to the Community and Professional Success. The balance to this is realizing what is important on each day... some days it will be family, some days work, some days health!
Because the young ones are the hungry ones.... with a fire intheir bellies to change and improve things. The ones who wantto question the norm, challenge the status quo. I believe the roleof previous generations is to guide them and nurture this fire ...so they can do the great things they are meant to do

I have worked across different categories and geographieswithin blue chip FMCG & Health Care companies... And what I loved the most, during this time, was working and turningaround brands in difficult markets, difficult segments, difficultsituations ... and here I learned the importance of clarity inthought and communication.
